Blue Copper Mine

Blue copper ore is an alkaline copper carbonate mineral with the molecular formula Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2 [1]. It was called Shiqing in ancient China. It is closely symbiotic with malachite and is produced in the oxidation zone of copper deposits. It is a secondary product of the oxidation of copper sulfide.
