Grape agate is mostly produced near the crater 20 kilometers north of Suhongtu in Alxa. There are high-silicon strange stone varieties such as agate and jasper on the Gobi Desert on the north side of the volcano. Most of the grape agate veins near the crater are deeply hidden in the voids of basalt and are wrapped in white powdery high territory. The shape, color and bead sizes of the stones produced are basically similar. They are crystal clear, gorgeous, light red to dark purple, translucent and strange shape. The stone is full of colorful, large and natural bead-shaped agate balls, which pile up with each other, and the beads hang jade, just like strings of grapes.
